The vision

Hello! Thank you for viewing my website. This is Makoto Saito, the owner of MAKOTO GUESTHOUSE. I enjoyed traveling more than 2 years and 50 countries. I was solo traveler but I made many friends at the guesthouse and we go to sightseeing together and hung out. It’s fun and I really enjoyed with them. In my opinion, sharing time and experience with someone is priceless, making the travel more wonderful.

I wanted to make my guesthouse which everyone are easy communicate together and enjoy their stay with the roommate. After I opened this guesthouse, I knew it’s very attractive area here. There are nice neighbors, local bar, super friendly rice shop owner, Japanese tea master and so on. And it’s suburb so every price is cheaper than city center. Onsen; 800yen~, Lunch box; 500yen~, Side dish 100yen~, etc

It is on my way exploring this area but I found attractive things/ people/ shops near here. You can enjoy with the atmosphere in local Tokyo. Some neighbor say hello even though they cannot speak English:D I think it's one of the best place if you have enough time to enjoy local Tokyo. (If you don’t enough time you had better choose the accommodation in city center.)
